BIO / SANDRA FREAY

As a designer, my goal is to tell a story through the work I create. From product design to UX/UI design, my priority is to provide others with a voice and platform to exhibit who they are and what they stand for.

My methodology explores design opportunities that promote community, inclusion, and connection through thoughtful interaction and form. I believe great design means asking better questions and digging deep to deliver human-centered, data-informed solutions backed by empathy and craft.

My career began after earning a B.S. in Textile & Apparel: Retail Merchandising and Business from UT Austin and working at Neiman Marcus, where I progressed from intern to top sales associate and gaining firsthand insight into customer behavior, merchandising, and luxury retail. I later studied fashion design at Parsons The New School for Design and worked with iconic brands like Rag & Bone, Calvin Klein, and John Varvatos, where attention to detail and storytelling shaped my design lens.

For over 13 years, I’ve also been an entrepreneur, building and running my own ethical e-commerce handbag business in collaboration with Colombian artisans. This entrepreneurial experience sharpened my understanding of direct-to-consumer commerce, customer experience, brand loyalty, and digital marketing. All valuable skills I now bring to my product design practice.

Today, I work as a Senior Product Designer at Florida Digital Center, helping brands improve their e-commerce websites and mobile experiences. I collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver accessible, scalable, and high-performing digital products that drive both user satisfaction and business outcomes. My work is grounded in UX strategy, user research, interaction design, and an iterative design process tailored to meet the needs of diverse audiences.

I bring a unique perspective as a designer—blending my background in fashion, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, and enterprise SaaS to help organizations create intuitive, impactful digital experiences that earn trust and drive growth.
